Back like 45'

Did ya miss me?lol
sike nah, But as you all can see, I took some time away from this blogging shit. I've been in driving school for the last 7 days so between that, my laziness/procrastination and a lack of time in general, I've been neglecting all of this. But nevertheless, i returned back to blogging, which is something I enjoy.
Far as my Valentine Day weekend, it had its ups & downs. Pretty much had the worst Valentine Day ever.lol. Had nothing to do with my lack of a date because that didn't bother me as much, but I stayed in the house literately the entire day. The only exposure I had besides these walls was to rake leaves outside and do a little bit of skateboarding (as usual). But my manz spent a night & so we pretty much chilled that night as well as the next day; and a few other lil' outtings after that. The highlight of my weekend though....*drumroll please*...going to Jessica's house.lol.
I had a few songs I've been trying to learn on the piano for some time and because of my hardheadedness and my inexperience, could never teach myself this one song in particular. Well, luckily for me, I happen to have a good friend that's skilled in music and some of her talent happened to rub off on me.lol *just a little bit*
After about a good hour and some change of practice, embarrassment, frustration and side jokes, I got the melody down in my right and a fraction of the chords in my left. In about a month or two, check the blog to see my updated video of my progress (I should have it done along w/the vocals by then). Until then, I'll show you how the original was performed, by the great American Alternative band, Coldplay.
